Department of Visual Information issued postcards with aerial photographs

The new publication of materials from the Department of Visual Information presents postcards (bromide prints) with aerial photographs, which were popular in Europe during the post-war decades. The virtual album includes shots of German, French, and Italian cities made by both renowned masters of aerial photography (Walter Hahn, 1889–1969, Germany; Roger Henrard, flying ace, 1900–1975, France; Vitale Valvassori, air force veteran, Italy) and by unknown authors.

The album with the aerial photographs can be found online.
